As an introduction to the value Renstrom Dental Studio offers our dentist clients and dentists who want ongoing skill development, here is a look at what our lab did last year and what 2008 offers.

In 2007 many new and exciting things happened at our dental lab. Early on we introduced a new CAD/CAM technology, Procera. We have had great success with Procera in designing esthetic restorations for natural teeth as well as implants. In addition, we have facilitated a series of educational programs on topics such as restoring implants, all-ceramic restorations, and dental adhesives.

We continue to commit ourselves to providing outstanding communication between the lab and office with our lab rep, informative programs, and new this year, the Renstrom Newsletter. We are excited to continue and expand upon our programs as well as our product and service offering as we strive for excellence in dentistry together.

This year we are looking forward to expanding our product offering to the dental office. A few products that we are especially looking forward to are Procera screw-retained implant bridges in zirconia and titanium, Nobel Guide implant planning software, and custom dental implant abutments. We also look forward to continuing and expanding our educational programs including dental marketing, photography, impression tips, implants, and all-ceramic restorations.

Dental CE on our calendar: Renstrom will be hosting a seminar on the use of digital photography in the dental office with Rick Spalding from National Camera on April 2, 2008 at the lab. In early May we will be having Angela Usher from GC America host a short evening seminar on impressions, which will be held at the lab as well. We will be in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on April 23 with Noble Biocare to host an evening on the use of dental implants and the cad/cam technology of Procera.

Renstrom is also very happy to have the opportunity to co-sponsor an implant mentorship course with Nobel Biocare, featuring Dr. Russell Baer. Dr. Baer will be instructing those who are interested in placing dental implants with this two day mentorship-style course. This event will take place June 6th and June 7th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shoreview, MN. For more information on any of these excellent education opportunities, please contact us.
